ProFrame I - Zip Data for Transfer...

Because this new version uses SQL Server as the database platform, it would be a complicated process for you and I to transfer your data on your end. I wanted to make this transfer process as easy as possible for you, so in order to transfer your current ProFrame I data into the new flagship product ProFrame 2015, you will need to 1st zip your data down and email me that file. (I've written a program to do that) I will then transfer your data on my end and then setup a download file that you can easily install and be up and running in the new version with a short turn-around. Follow instructions below to do that.

This Installation page has two Sections...

  • Section One - How to Zip Data for Transfer... (this should be done 1st)
  • Section Two - Installing Your Data into ProFrame 2015... (after receiving the turn-around download file)

Click here to Install your turn-around download file... otherwise start at Section One below...

Misc Information...

  • Not running v3.07a... No problem... Zip and send anyway, I can upgrade your data for you.
  • This process does not effect your current installation of ProFrame I.

How to Zip Data for Transfer... (Section One)

Note: If you are running a 64-bit machine - this BuildZip utility will not run... (call 1.877.903.6176)

  • Click here to download and install the Build Zip For Transfer (select RUN, no need to Save)

  • Depending on how much data you may have, the turn-around could be within a few hours.
  • A turn-around time frame over a weekend would work perfect.

When Ready to Zip...

  • Startup ProFrame...
  • Make sure you post all payments and work, if it's at the end of a month, make sure you close period...
  • Select Utility then Reindex Files... Leave both options checked On and select GO...

  • This loads the Build Zip as shown above, Select the Build button to create the Zip file...

  • Once that Build has completed, look for Zip has Completed in the Status bar as shown above.
  • Make note of the Drive and Path of the Zip file, you should then attach that file to an email and send it to:
  • Kenny@easybeesoftware.com (you can use this link to send that email)
  • Note: you're drive and path may be different than this image... Most likely (C:\EasyBee\ProFrame\Transfer\PFDATA.DLF)
  • Then wait for the agreed turn-around time and look for the email with a link to your 2015 Data Transfer Download File...
  • Note: the turn-around email will contain more instructions and links back to this webpage (Section Two below)
